Della Vita 10 Year Guarantee

At Della Vita, we take pride in the quality of our tiles. We ensure we can confidently offer our customers a 10-year warranty on all our floor and wall tiles. 

Our tiles are covered by guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the tiles repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Coverage of our 10 Year Guarantee

1. Floor and wall tiles.
2. Tiles used in residential settings only.
3. Tiles with manufacturer defects or those that do not meet Australian Standards.
4. Tiles that exhibit excessive wear after installation.
5. Valid for the original purchaser at the site of the first installation.
6. Requires proof of purchase, verification that the claimant is the original purchaser, and proof that the floor is at the original installation site.

Exclusions from our 10 Year Guarantee

1. Tiles used in commercial settings.
2. Tiles without proof of purchase, e.g. Job Number or site address. 
3. Customer change of mind.
4. Tiles installed with visible defects, damage, or blemishes before installation.
5. Tiles with natural variations in size, shade, colour, and texture.
6. Defects or excessive wear due to abuse, misuse, or faulty installation.
7. Lack of proper care as per Della Vita's tile care guidelines (e.g., using appropriate gliders, mats, and avoiding harsh cleaners).
8. Failure to protect the floor from moisture sources such as the subfloor.
9. Damage caused by alterations or refinishing not adhering to original product specifications (e.g., use of sealers).
10. Damage caused by natural events beyond human control (e.g., earthquakes, hurricanes, floods).
11. Purchasing tiles with specific slip or wear ratings against Della Vita's recommendations.
12. Excessive wear includes a reduction in gloss or finish, fading, and scratches from normal domestic use, which are not covered by this guarantee.
