Della Vita offers a 2-year guarantee on our digital door locks, providing assurance in their reliability, durability, and security. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund in the case of major defects, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Coverage of the Digital Door Locks Guarantee:
- Defects in the electronic components, such as keypad, finger reader, or sensor failure under normal usage.
- Malfunctioning of locking mechanisms, including electronic and mechanical parts.
- Battery performance issues related to the lock's operation (excluding battery replacement).
- Valid for the original purchaser at the site of the first installation.
- Requires proof of purchase and verification that the product is still at its original installation site.
Exclusions:
- Digital door locks used in commercial or non-residential settings.
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or attempts at unauthorized repairs.
- Normal wear and tear, such as minor cosmetic blemishes, scratches, or discoloration.
- Damage caused by external factors, such as power surges, water exposure, or extreme environmental conditions not specified by Della Vita.
- Battery replacement or any damage caused by failure to replace the batteries.
- Modifications or alterations not in accordance with Della Vita’s product specifications.
