Della Vita 6-Year Warranty for Cabinets
At Della Vita, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our cabinets. We are confident in offering a comprehensive 6-year warranty that covers all cabinet boards, hinges, drawers, and related hardware. This warranty ensures peace of mind, as we stand behind the durability and performance of our products. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund in the event of a major defect, along with compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For minor defects, we will repair or replace any faulty component within the warranty period.
Coverage of the 6-Year Warranty:
- Cabinet Boards: Protection against material defects such as warping, cracking, or delamination under normal usage conditions.
- Hinges: Warranty against failure, misalignment, or malfunction in the opening and closing mechanisms.
- Drawers: Coverage for structural issues, such as the failure of drawer runners, tracks, or the drawer box itself.
- Edge Banding & Finishes: Warranty against peeling, bubbling, or fading of finishes or edge banding materials.
- Cabinet Structure: Coverage for the overall integrity of the cabinetry, ensuring they remain functional and stable.
- This warranty is valid for the original purchaser at the site of the first installation.
- Requires proof of purchase and verification that the claimant is the original purchaser, with the cabinets installed at the original site.
Exclusions:
- Cabinets used in commercial or industrial settings.
- Damage caused by improper installation, including failure to follow Della Vita’s installation guidelines.
- Wear and tear from misuse or overloading of drawers or hinges.
- Surface damage caused by cleaning with harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.
- Normal wear and tear, such as minor scratches, discoloration, or fading due to aging or exposure to sunlight.
- Modifications or alterations not in accordance with Della Vita’s original product specifications.
- Water damage caused by improper use or failure to protect cabinets from exposure to moisture.
Blum Hardware Lifetime Warranty
In addition to Della Vita’s 6-year warranty on cabinetry, all Blum hardware (hinges, drawer runners, and lift systems) used in our cabinets comes with a lifetime part replacement warranty. This lifetime warranty is provided and managed directly by Blum Australia, ensuring that any defect in Blum hardware components will be covered for the entire lifespan of the product. Should any part fail under normal usage, Blum will supply a replacement part at no additional cost.
